When I had all of these slides printed to scan for this page, I was suprized and a bit disapointed
that I did not have any recognizable pictures of N468AC, the aircraft that came to grief at John Wayne
in early 1981 { Click Here for a photo...not mine} and probably prompted the color scheme change.

Bruce Vanderwilt waiting for No. 1 to start before departure.

Rod Quick walks out with 462, watching for traffic as he goes.

A shot like this was what I had in mind for the picture below.

A bit of clowning for the camera.

Holloween, and one of the guys showed up in this outfit, wearing an old man mask.  He got a lot of grins from the flight crews!

A 737 cockpit panel.
Long before the
"glass cockpit".

Jeff Garnaus and Craig Eisele.  This was supposed to have a plane in the background, but it never worked out..

Myself, 23 years younger, and 50 pounds lighter!

An afternoon 737
landing.

Being parked for the night, 462, with two Hughes
Air West DC-9's.

Sunset behind a 737.
The infamous SNA Zoo!

Carts of bags, on a very busy night, waiting for someone to get time to take them to baggage claim!
